Peyton Manning, like Brett Favre, is hailed as one of the best if not the best quarterback in the game. And, like Favre, Manning only has one Super Bowl ring. He sure does have the stats to back those claims up though. Boy does he ever have the stats. Peyton will look to add to his legacy this year and possibly win the Super Bowl this year instead of getting there and choking or choking before even getting there.
Everyone is back from last year, including a healthy Bob Sanders. Like usual, their defense will be excellent, headlined by guys such as Clint Sessions, Robert Mathis, Dwight Freeney, Gary Brackett, and others.
Once again Manning has the targets he had last year with the addition of Anthony Gonzalez who sat out all of last year. The question is, come playoff time, can these guys deliver? They have done so in the past time and time again, but have fallen short countless times. I predict them finishing a seemingly boring 12-4 record for them due to the fact that they seem to be around that record every season now. We’ll see what Manning and the boys are made of come playoff time.
